Committee Members Terms of Reference Description: The Flock Project is a good idea generator which helps citizens take action on the causes community care about! Ideas posted on the online site will be selected by the community and supported by the Flock Project Team. The Flock Project Committee oversee the operational components of the Flock Project. GOAL STATEMENT for the Flock Project Empowering residents to come together, recognize ideas, and work together to improve their communities. FLOCK PROJECT VALUES MISSION: To connect people and ideas with resources for social good. VISION: We envision a community like a flock of geese flying together, where all people hold the power to create positive change, for themselves and others. VALUES: Transparency, empowerment, equality, kindness, respect. Commitment: Comprised of up to 15 local citizens with any background from Leduc Area. Term is 1 year. Option of extension can occur for up to 6 consecutive years. Committee strives towards consensus however in the circumstance that the Committee is unable to make consensus, the Flock Administrative Team will make the final recommendations and give explanation for rational. If disagreements occur, committee members are expected to make their statements in the spirit of collaboration. Meetings will be held at least once a month on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 5:30pm till 7:30pm. These hours and dates can be expected to change depending on holidays. Purpose of the Flock Project Committee: Monitor and support in the implementation in the four areas of focus: 1. Marketing/Advertisement. Assist in creating a marketing plan by providing a realistic budget and implementation plan to promote the Flock Project during submission periods. Participate in the Implementation Plan as determined by the committee. Review all online and physical forms of marketing related to the Flock Project. Monitor online voting and website traffic in relationship to marketing efforts. 2. Criteria and Submission Review feedback on online submission form and make adjustments to ensure realistic, attainable ideas are submitted. 3. Implementation/Mentorship Committee. Submit a Mentor Application Form to support the selected awarded Project. Identify additional local assets/expertise/mentors to support the Flock Project. Participation in the Mentor Vetting application process to ensure appropriate mentors are paired with the appropriate projects. If selected as appropriate Mentor, provide accountable updates on project completion. 4. Evaluation Review and make applicable changes to the Flock Project process by reviewing the following areas of evaluation: Committee Vetting Mentorship, Mentee Feedback, Mentor Applications, Mentor Feedback, Project Submissions, Project Wrap Up.
